Who We Are
ello! We are Amy and Sarah George. We are NOT identical twins, even though everyone swears that we look exactly alike. We love cooking, traveling, and working together. Yes, we still live with one another, how could you ask for a better roommate than your twin sister?!
We are the co-founders of Double Yolked, an online food service and blog. We love food, travel, and anything paired with wine.
Our Philosophy is that life it TOO short to not live it to the fullest. However, it can get really expensive to travel, eat, and be social like the rich and famous. So, we find ways to do it all on a budget.

"As you know, I rarely cook (unless you count heating up Lean Cuisines in the microwave as cooking), so the fact that these recipes were easy enough for me says a lot. Here are my thoughts:
Shrimp Tacos – my favorite, by far. The Greek yogurt was unexpected and tasted a lot like sour cream to me. I also HATE red onions, but decided to put them in anyway, and really enjoyed them.
Quinoa Mac n Cheese – I made this for my book club it was a big hit. I will definitely be making this again.
Roasted Shrimp with Fresh Salsa and Quinoa – This dish was wonderful too. I normally don’t use mangos or red onions in my cooking, but you all have transformed me. I also loved how I had most ingredients from the tacos to add to this dish.
Overall, these dishes were supper easy, fresh, and delicious. Thank you for letting me be a part of your journey! This was a wonderful experience for me and taught me some of the basics. Now I get to enjoy my leftovers!"
